Rooftops appears on Activision's launch list of 12 Core 6v6 maps. Its setting is described as snow lined new york rooftops, and it belongs to the Americas group of the launch map list. It was one of the maps made available during the beta.
How to learn it quickly
Run one rotation of each objective mode on it before you judge it. Most maps punish you for the same mistake twice: an angle you did not check, a rotation you did not time, or a route you assumed was safe because it worked last match.
Reading a new map in one match
Three things are worth identifying before anything else — where the sightlines break, where the routes converge, and where you can be shot from without being seen. Those three answers are worth more than any callout from a teammate, and you can get them in a single life if you look for them.
What is not published yet
Activision has published the map names, their settings and which were in the beta. Lane counts, spawn layouts, sightline lengths and the specific modes each map hosts are not published, so this page will not invent them. Check the map in the live game before trusting anyone else’s breakdown.
