What it does
Blocks enemy pings. The best pick when the other team is reading you better than you read them. This site groups it under intelligence, which is our own classification — Activision publishes the name, the kill threshold and the unlock level, not a category.
The two numbers that matter
The kill threshold is 6 — the streak costs that many kills in a life. The player level is 31, so the streak can be locked even once you can afford its kill streak. Both come from the same official guide.
Where it fits
Our Killstreak picker surfaces the Counter UAV for Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed. That list is editorial: the streak only pays off in a mode where you can convert the trigger into an objective, which is why information and area denial read well in objective modes and vehicles read well in Ground War.
How to use it well
Call it for a reason and confirm you have one. A streak used with nothing to gain costs you the kill streak and gives the other team free information about where you are.
