What it does
Heavy elimination power for a top tier. Only worth it when it changes an objective. This site groups it under elimination, which is our own classification — Activision publishes the name, the kill threshold and the unlock level, not a category.
The two numbers that matter
The kill threshold is 10 — the streak costs that many kills in a life. The player level is 45, so the streak can be locked even once you can afford its kill streak. Both come from the same official guide.
Where it fits
Our Killstreak picker surfaces the Argonaut for Team Deathmatch, Free for All, Inflation, Counter Attack. That list is editorial: the streak only pays off in a mode where you can convert the trigger into an objective, which is why information and area denial read well in objective modes and vehicles read well in Ground War.
How to use it well
Call it for a reason and confirm you have one. A streak used with nothing to gain costs you the kill streak and gives the other team free information about where you are.
