Sixteen missions, four cities
Activision describes an epic narrative featuring sixteen missions across the Korean Peninsula, Paris, New York and Mumbai, while Price goes on the hunt for the one pulling the strings. Four settings across sixteen missions means the campaign is not one long corridor, and each city will have its own lighting, scale and combat rhythm.
Eight Operators come from the campaign
Eight of the launch Operators are earned by finishing a named campaign mission, and they are the cheapest progression in the game because the requirement is a mission rather than a level or a purchase.
| OPERATOR | UNLOCKED BY |
|---|---|
| Cho | Complete the “Mayhem” mission |
| Dallas | Complete the “Hired Gun” mission |
| Luca | Complete the “Traffic” mission |
| Oh-Ji | Complete the “Assassins” mission |
| Kal | Complete the “Defection” mission |
| Dunn | Complete the “Counter Attack” mission |
| West | Complete the “Losing Ground” mission |
| Park | Complete the “Decapitation” mission |
Why the campaign Operators matter for Multiplayer
The launch guide lists Operators earned through campaign missions as usable in both Multiplayer and DMZ. Because a campaign Operator is a one-time unlock with no level or edition requirement, they are the fastest way to give a new account a full roster — and the fastest way to get a specific Operator you want into a specific loadout.
What is not published
The mission list beyond the eight Operator unlock names, the order the missions run in, and the rewards for finishing them are not published. The table above lists only what Activision states. Check the campaign itself for the rest.
