What it does
Equipment recharges over time and maximum capacity is increased by 1. Field Upgrade earn rate increased.

Where it sits in the unlock curve
Slot one is the slot most people commit to first, because the earliest Perks in it land at player level 4 — the same level Create-a-Class opens.

How to choose it
Perk effects change between Call of Duty entries, so a Perk that solved a problem in an earlier game may behave differently here. Test it in the firing range against the problem you actually have, rather than taking a tier list as settled.
