Keep the first few games simple. Verify menu names and available equipment in the live client as updates arrive.
Set a readable baseline
Choose a display setting you can read clearly and a sensitivity you can repeat. Change one input setting at a time so you know what helped.
Learn one route per map
Find one protected approach and one fallback. Enter fights from cover and note where you are exposed for too long. The map catalog gives official names; the route must be learned in game.
Build one clear role
At player level 4, Create-a-Class opens according to the official launch guide. Pick a primary weapon and equipment that serve the same role, then save the class in the loadout planner.
End with one correction
Write down a single recurring mistake: late rotation, low crosshair, unprotected reload, or missed audio cue. Take that one issue into the next match and use the drill timer if it is mechanical.

What these guides use
The map and mode names come from Activision. The drills and decisions here are independent coaching suggestions; check them against the live game.
